Get out there and mow the damn lawn BND.

Already mowed.

How 'bout them Packers (3-0)!!!!

Crymson Flower said...

You think they're for real?

Favre is looking pretty tough so far.

Darn that Favre! I can't believe the cheeseheads pulled it off!

just think, in a few hours the bears will be two games behind the packers-littlenewsday

OK, which one of you dudes paid off the refs?

Screw it! "Wrecks" Grossman has gone too far! Our defense played ok today. But the offense needs some serious help. It's 24-10 right now, and I decided to give up on today's game. The Bears collectively looked tired and unprepared today.

The Cowboys looked good. Their defense is rather porous, which may prove fatal once they play a true offensive powerhouse.

Meanwhile, they're the team to beat in the NFC...except for the Packers. Bret Favre, as much as I hate the Packers, would probably run circles around Romo.

Hopefully the Bears and Cowboys will meet again in the NFC championship. Perhaps then, if the Bears shape up, we can get redemption.

Good game for BND's 'boys!

Truth. I had anticipated a Cowboys v Bears NFC championship game this year.
I could not be more disappointed. From what I have seen the Bears defense is a step up from last year but the offense is a !#$!*! 91 year old woman in a wheelchair. Theres nothing happening. Drops, vanilla game planning, rotten play calling. I call a fake on a 50+ field goal when I'm playing Madden drunk. What was touted as an improved offense in training camp is clearly a visage.
As a fan, I couldn't be more let down.
BND, I see this is a changing of the guard. I sincerely would like to see the Cowboy enjoy success.

I'm right there with ya Ken. BND, I hope the Cowboys can continue to be a force and go on and win a Superbowl for us in the NFC. The Bears organization has wasted too much time with below-average quarterbacks.

Good luck with your 'boys BND. Show the AFC that the NFC can win it too.

By the way, did anyone else notice that the Bears began to play horribly right after the camera showed an idiot with a Cubs hat on and a sign that read "This is the Bears & Cubs year?"

I think that idiot brought his Cubs course over to Soldier Field.

Emphasis on "I call a fake on a 50+ field goal when I'm playing Madden drunk". For some reason that makes me laugh. God I'm sick. This play calling brought to you by a brain dead squirrel.
The injuries hurt. I was wearing my Ogunleye jersey and that hurt seeing him go down. Wife was wearing my Briggs jersey.
This was a D- game. That defense was pushing the defense around the first quarter and the offense couldn't make crap out of that. You have to understand this was touted as a sincerely improved offense in TC by several sources, this team has got to get its sh!t together with an improving NFC North.
This is a changing of the guard game. Other teams are getting better. And we are not. This is a hard one to swallow.

That was an atrocious play. The defense played so well in the beginning. Romo couldn't get anything done. Naturally, Grossman couldn't either. What about Berrian dropping all those balls? This is getting ridiculous.

The Cowboys have a phenomenal offense, but their defense needs lots of work. Grossman was actually made some good passes, and that's saying a lot!

At least I'm comforted by my prediction of Urlacher getting two sacks was correct. Hester couldn't do anything as he bobbled the ball twice, and by the time he actually held it, our special teams looked too tired to provide him any holes.

Just an awful game!

I was really impressed with the D, Anderson right off the bat was a big statement. Every series seemed to hold the Boys. Several 3 and 10+ series. TO was fairly well held by Tillman. For some reason, coverage failed over Whitten.
I went to grab some beer, came back with 12 mins left in the second half, Briggs is gone, etc.
But this is too much. Drop a basket of whiffle balls on me right now and I'll drop less that Berrian and Muhammad, I mean WTF was that.
Big disappointment. I thought this would actually be close. This was a big, big letdown.

Bears had the chance, and blew it. I'm sure every Chicago paper will be very loud Monday morning. Jay Marriati was right.

The Bears kept this game close for almost three quarters. The Cowboys offensive line is so big and strong, that they will eventually wear down any defense, and the mistakes by Grossman sealed the fate of th Bears. I sure hope they do something soon, because the Bears are a great team and deserve to have a more productive offense. Cedric Benson is a great running back. He won my respect during his college days at UT (hook 'em horns).

What a nightmare. Highs and lows, right. The last high I can remember was after that Saints game in January, because it made me forget what I've known all along.
Well the message is loud this morning. People are pissed and I can't blame them. I really expected better than 34-10.
The defense can hardly take the knock here. They came out like a wall, through three games I'm convinced the D is even tougher than last year.
This offense, its one of the worst I've ever seen in Chicago. Spread the blame as you choose; I say those drops, fumbles, bad routes all stem from a loss of confidence, and we all know the source.
This is a pretty crushing hit. I'd expect any other team in the NFL to deal with this sort of thing quickly, but someone seems to believe that Rex Grossman will come around any day now and save this season from tanking.
As a fan I expected better.

spartachris said...

Benson doesn't watch tape. He seems to believe it doesn't help and all he needs is a hole to run through.
Great work ethic.

Not to take anything away from the Boys, I was really impressed with your game last night. Romo held on, took advantage of what he could and eventually beat a really good D. I don't think anyone can argue with that.
