Damn, Tecmo Bowl?

Once again, I think you have made some good picks. I'm very suprised you picked GB over the Giants. Also, thank you dearly for the wonderful pic of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Damn, she's hot.

Yeah my wife was giving me crap over the GB pick, I don't think I EVER took the Pack last year. Well, I still got til Sunday to decide; in all honesty though, I think the Giants are in for a tough opening stretch of the season.
Any picks BND?
And yeah, she's smoking. I'd pee in... hee hee... uh never mind.

The only differences I have with your picks are:
Houston>Carolina
San Diego>New England
and my big upset pick of the week is Oakland>Denver

Hou vs. Car: This was the one pick I was back and forth on all night. I originally took Houston. In all honesty I think this is the team that crawls out and suprises everyone this year. But something tells me the Cats win this one close.
SD vs. NE: Everyone's playing up the scandal as a distraction, but I have serious doubts the game planning is disrupted. This will be a fight no matter what.
Upset Oakland over Denver. Thats a pretty exciting upset there. My upset of the week is that Cowboys cheerleader not calling me back.
And I awoke this morning smacking my forehead. Why buck tradition now? My Friday pick-switch: New York over Green Bay. Eat it Packers! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

HA HA!!!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Any thoughts on the Belichick / Patriots punishment?

BigNewsDay said...

The Patriots have 4 first round draft picks this year. I think it will be great that they loose all 4 of them. I also think they should be disqualified from last weeks game against the Jets. I also believe that Belichik should be suspended.

For as tough as Goodell was with Wade Wilson I expected more as well. On top of a suspension I was hoping for some sort of investigation. You can't tell me the Patriots got caught on their first time.
In a way however, I think the damage is done in the shadow it casts on the organization.
At a time I thought Belichick was a great coach, the guy always seemed to have an answer for everything. Last year with the handshake crap, then shoving a cameraman during the playoffs, his shady life, and now this, I don't really care for the guy anymore.

One more pick-switch today, think I have to take the Rams over the 49ers. Short week on SF and I say Steven Jackson has a good game.

Eat it Packers!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

spartachris said...

Oh man did I call it or what, same afternoon Wade Wilson calls the Pats discipline inconsistent.
Don't get me wrong, I think Goodell has done a great job in this first year, but the punishment for the Pats is WAY too lenient compared to some of the more recent issues.

I agree there brother.

But I still think Green Bay is going to beat the Giants. NY still has too many bums and bruises from last week's game. HAHAHAHAHAHa!!!!!

Also, remember that Brett Favre>>>>>>>Rex Grossman

Me taking the Packers would be like you taking the Skins. Just. Can't. Do. It.
I pretty much have the Giants on my "going down" list. Tough season ahead, injuries are looming, there will be some up-and-coming teams that will keep New York out of the playoffs.
Brett Favre > Rex Grossman? C'mon man, lets at least keep it competitive! Like Terri Shiavo vs. Rex Grossman, or Andy Dick vs. Rex Grossman.

Not what I was hoping to see.

What did you want to see Crymson?

One thing for sure is that Greenpeace is going to be all over the Cowboys for killing the Dolphins.

My wife's account.
Chicago fans were booing at the end of the game. I don't blame them.
All in all, a very exciting week 2.

Just think, after next week, the Bears will be 1-2!!!!!

spartachris said...

1-2? I believe it. I had been looking forward to this game since the schedule came out but I have serious doubts this team in general. Defense and special teams look damn sharp, there's no questions here. Really, the D holds up very well, and I believe they and STs are the reason the Bears will hang around for a quarter or two. But this offense cannot get into gear and I see the engine crapping out in primetime. Next Monday Chicago milk cartons will be carrying a "Missing" label and a picture of our offense.
The "we have to keep working at it" line is getting REALLY fucking old. Its not getting done. We might actually be better off punting on first down and leaving it up to the defense and Hester for scoring our points.
Yeah, I didn't enjoy the game yesterday.

That Cowboys game is going to be tough! I agree with Ken that our D and special teams are doing their job rather well. Our O-line is shitty this year. They have been fucking up even more than Grossman. Nevertheless, I predict Urlacher will get his 2nd and 3rd sacks of the season against Romo.

Hey BND, isn't it weird to be at odds on something?

Yes, it is wierd brother, but this is just football. Nothing but friends and good-natured ribbing.
