That's about how I see it as well, but I do think the Packers will beat the Seahawks. I would like to see Seattle win that one so my 'Boys can spank them next week to make up for our first round loss last year, but I don't think that Favre is going to lose this one.
I feel as if I have downplayed the Hawks this year and they are in fact a better team than I give them credit for. Playoffs never go the way you expect them to. Last year the #1 and #2 AFC seeds were knocked out in this round. And then I suppose you can find doubt in any of the games. Jacksonville and San Diego have so much momentum going in, Seattle I spoke of above and you never know with a NFC East rival game.
I agree. I am actually a bit worried about this weekend's game against the Giants. I know we have beat them twice already this year, but they have ben playing much better over the past few weeks, and Strahan was a fucking monster last week against the Bucs. T.O. may not play, and the distractions the Cowboys have had over the past few weeks may take their toll.
It seems like the Giants hit the wild card and went into stealth mode from there. They never gave off the impression of an overwhelming playoff opponent, and then they get hot just at the right time. As always it could go either way, if TO plays, if Jessica is in the stands *snicker* or who's having a bad day. But for the moment I'd go with the better team here.
That's a tough loss BND. I never thought the Giants would play so well, and Eli not making any big mistakes. Fortunately for you, the Cowboys appear to be a strong contender for years to come (unlike my Bears). Good luck next season.
The Giants made the right adjustments at half time, and the Cowboys made the wrong adjustments. Stupid penalties and dropped balls just killed us. Romo also made some very poor decisions in the 4th qtr.
In the end, the blame doesn't really matter, it probably stirs up more emotion than anything else. A loss is simply a loss.
It's unfortunate, but I wholeheartedly agree with lefty. I envy a team that has its core intact and there is no doubt in my mind that the Cowboys will remain a force for years to come.
